Yesterday we drove from New Meadows, ID to Jackpot, NV. We stopped at the Bruneau Sand Dunes near Twin Falls. It was incredibly windy while we were there. Thirty to forty mile winds kicked up a lot of sand too. We climbed to the top of the little sand dune and it was quite the workout. Once at the top it was all I could do to not get blown away.
After that we drove another two hours to Jackpot. We’ve been hyping this place up since we went last year and we both agree that it lives up to the hype. We had a delicious buffet and then promptly $70. But it was fun!
